Save Brave is a brand of Schmuckzeit Europe GmbH, a company for jewelry in Schwabach near Nuremberg. Save Brave is specialised on jewelry for men. Moreover, there is a perfume collection for men. The company supports us with part of the proceeds from the "Gorilla Kollektion".
The amusement park has a large chimpanzee colony and occupies them with various activities. We receive the proceeds because in most gorilla distribution areas chimpanzees are living too. At the moment we receive the money that is collected in an apparatus that offers to visitors to drop walnuts into a device where the chimpanzees fish them with sticks.
WERO GmbH & Co. KG supports us with a donation taken from the proceeds of their BlackPower plasters that show a gorilla picture. Moreover, they provided first aid kits for the rangers in protected areas where eastern gorillas live.
The tour operator Wigwam Naturreisen & Expeditionen GmbH addresses nature lovers and friends of expeditions who want to experience a country intensely. Wigwam has been supporting the Sarambwe rangers with equipment since 2010.
The Stuttgart Zoological-Botanical Garden created, together with B&RD, a bushmeat exhibition in 2000. Since 2009 we have been receiving proceeds from the Wilhelma mobile phone recycling project, and since 2019 we have been receiving part of the proceeds from the "species conservation euro" that is generated as a voluntary addition to the tickets. These funds have been used to support the patrols in the Sarambwe Reserve recently; for 2023, almost half of the costs of these patrols is covered by Wilhelma.
In 2013, the Heidelberg Zoo collected mobile phones and transferred the proceeds from Recycling to B&RD. The funds will be used for the 2014 Survey in Maiko National Park.
The Krefeld Zoo has supported our work several times and introduces it on a board in the new GorillaGarden.
The Rostock Zoo supports us regularly, for example with the proceeds of a mobile phone collection campaign that was started in 2015 by pupils. Presently, the zoo supports our activities in Maiko National Park with proceeds from the conservation euro.
Since many decades the Zoological Garden Saarbrücken has been keeping lowland gorillas for species conservation. We contribute by mobile phone collections, donations and the raising awareness in our visitors. In 2023 we will dedicate our species conservation day to the gentle giants and their home; the proceeds will completely be donated to Berggorilla & Regenwald Direkthilfe.
